Kimberly Gustafson taught two Bricks and Beyond workshops in my upper elementary classroom in March 2012. Kimberly and I worked together to tie the unique learning opportunities that Lego robotics brings with my simple machines unit. The classes were amazing, and all of my students enjoyed working with her. Kimberly had lessons prepared, brought all of the necessary materials for the activities she planned, and worked well with the students. She had age-appropriate follow up materials that helped the students explore the scientific process.

My 9-year old son loved the Lego Robotics classes. It was rewarding for him to see his Lego creations come to life using the computer software. He can't wait to start the next session!

I liked the Drumming Monkey because you really had to think and I like thinking. I learned that smaller gears spin more times than bigger gears.
